Dear citizens,

In recent weeks there has been a great deal of confusion and uncertainty regarding the many different entry and exit regulations within our Euregio Meuse-Rhine.

For this reason, the EGTC Euregio Meuse-Rhine and its partners have developed this tool.

With just a few clicks you can find out whether your trip to the neighbouring country is allowed and whether you need to take measures on your return. HERE you can find out which Corona rules you should expect in your destination. The list is updated regularly.

We hope that this tool will help you in a practical and straightforward way.

If you have been in a high-risk area for more than 48 hours and wish to stay in Belgium for more than 48 hours, that applies to you:
  1. A Passenger Locator Form must be completed 48 hours prior to your arrival in Belgium. This applies regardless of the reason for your journey.
  2. You must immediately go into quarantine on arrival. This applies to both residents and non-residents. You will only be exempt from this rule if you hold a vital position or if you regularly have to be in Belgium for a longer period of time as a school pupil, student or worker and return home regularly during the week (such as a school pupil who goes to boarding school in Belgium and returns at the weekend). Residents are subject to a compulsory test or day 1 and day 7, with the exception of children under the age of 6.
  3. If you are a non-Belgian resident, you must submit a negative test result from a test taken 72 hours before arrival at the earliest. This does not apply to children under 12 years of age. School pupils, students and workers who regularly have to be in Belgium for a longer period of time and regularly return home during the week (such as a school pupil who goes to boarding school in Belgium and returns at the weekend) are exempt from this rule.
